Hi Ashley. Gold Wave will let you convet from Wae to MP3 and I do beli9ve they will let you convert to WMA. I don't know about the other formats. Another software you might want to try out is Reaper.

Goldwave has a limited use function where you can use it fully for a number of sessions, but I can't remember how many.
I think the full lifetime version is around $51.00 Perhaps someone else can answer your other questions.

Hello,

I was trying to remember the other audio editor that I've heard many people use including screen reader users.
Its GoldWave!

I'm certainly considering it and saw it works on older computers fortunately.

Do you know if GoldWave has a free trial period or free scaled down version? 
How much will it cost to go for the full version?
Does GoldWave allow you to convert from file type to file type such as mp4A to mp3 or Wav to mp3?

I looked at audicity and so far it seems harder to use.
I'm hoping GoldWave will be easy, something where I can simply mark the beginning and end of files to delete out that block of recording.

Have you ever tried or looked into GoldWave? Its easier to use than audacity, IMHO.
