Hello Tom,

As far as making a bulleted list is concerned there are a few keystrokes you
can use.

If you use CTRL with Shift key and L you will start a list with filled round
bullets. One thing to note with this style of list is the text starts at
1.25 inches from the paper edge or 0.25 from a one-inch margin. Other
bulleted lists start the text at 1.5 inches from the paper edge by default.
You can always adjust indentation in the context menu.
Starting a line with an asterisk followed by a single space, typing in an
item and immediately pressing enter key will start the same type of bulleted
list.
You can also start a line wit a hyphen or a greater-than sign followed
immediately by a space, the text, and enter key to start lists with
different types of bullets.
Use shift with enter key to add any lines in the list that you don't want to
be bulleted.

Take care.

Subject: [Trainer-Talk] Bullets and Headings with Word 365

Hello,

I'm trying to format a document using Microsoft Word 365, and I am wanting
to bullet a couple of lists and use some headings, like heading 1, 2, and 3.
I found the bullets in the ribbons, but is there a quick keyboard command to
apply them? I can't find it anywhere. And, I thought there was a key stroke
for the headings and subheadings as well, like Alt 1 or Alt 2 or something
like that.
Am I off here?
