[Trainer-Talk] trying to disable an Elan Clickpad on an HP Pavilion laptop Model 15-CS1031NR

Hi All,
 
I have a customer who keeps brushing the darn touchpad or Elan Clickpad in
this case, and losing focus as a result which is quite frustrating for him.
I want to disable the Clickpad, but no matter what I do, I can't seem to
find out how to disable it.
I turned it off in the Hardware Properties, and uninstalled it in the Mouse
and Pointers section of Device Manager, but to no avail.
It did go off until we rebooted and the driver was reinstalled and it was
back in gear.
If anyone can even steer me to an HP contact who might know how to do this,
that would be super kind and wonderful.
