[Trainer-Talk] Seeking Recommendations for Bluetooth Earbuds with Good Mics for Calls

Hello, the Tozo brand of ear buds and head phones are a great choice. They
have good sound and best of all, my experience with their microphones is
outstanding. I do not say this lightly because 90 percent of Bluetooth
devices out there seem to lack reliable microphone capabilities.
Following are two models which I recommend highly. While I am an Android
user, these also work great with iPhones and iPads.

1. Tozo OpenReal Open Ear headphones. These are similar to bone conduction
headphones like Shokz, where they wrap around the back of your head. Instead
of the transducors resting on your cheek bone, they rest on the outside of
your ear canal. This makes it so you can still hear your surroundings while
hearing the audio from them quite clearly. As of today, the Amazon price is
$49.99. The link is:

2. Tozo T12, 2022 model in-ear buds. There are newer ones of these, so I
will comment on the ones I have. These fit mostly well inside the ear. In my
opinion, they are a bit too heavy, but tht could be just because of the size
of my ears. They sound outstanding and the microphones work well for Zoom,
and other things. I could never get them to work on my Pixel 6, but they
work on my Pixel 7, and they work fine on all iPhones that I have tried. As
of today, the Amazon price is $34.99. The link is:

I hope this helps.

Subject: [Trainer-Talk] Seeking Recommendations for Bluetooth Earbuds with
Good Mics for Calls

Hi Trainers:

I'm looking for a good pair of Bluetooth earbuds compatible with my iPhone
that have both clear sound quality and a good mic that can be used in phone
and Zoom calls. Currently I have the second generation AirPods, and while
the sound quality is great for listening, my biggest disappointment with
them is that nobody seems to be able to hear me when I join a call while my
phone is connected to them. As I continue to work more with students, fixing
this problem would be very helpful. Any recommendations would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris
