Curtis,

Good to know, as these "little exceptions" may make zero difference to
most, but be critically important to others.

Right now I'm just aiming for the best "quick and not really dirty, even if
it wouldn't be your first choice" functional workaround for the majority of
Google Drive users.  I've greatly curtailed my use of the web interface,
though not eliminated it, since I started using Google Drive for Desktop.
