I'll also add to that, "Don't be afraid to ask your client what it is they
hope to get out of training, what's important to them, and in what order."
Most of us are not in front of classrooms where a set curriculum is to be
taught.  We have individuals in front of us who have very specific tasks
they need to be able to do and some are more important to them (and, often,
their employers) than others.

With adult students it is the student who should be "driving the bus," not
the instructor, in terms of identifying what they want to know, and in what
order.  It's our job to get them there.  But if a client cannot articulate
why they want you there, that's a big, red flag.
