[Travelandtourism] Intro of New Member: Jewel

Hi all,

Some of you know me form various other lists...I love listservs. I'm a
25 year-old living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm a member of the
local chapter of the NFB, a member of the North Carolina Association
of Blind Students, and an active advocate for Braille and access for
the blind.

What brings me to this list? Well, we (my boyfriend and I) have a few
trips planned and love to travel, especially by Amtrak train (though
he likes the Carolinian better). The nearer trips are to the NFB
Center in Baltimore next month with a group, and a trip to the NC
coast in June. However, the big trip is a year away still...

Mike and I have never been to a national convention, and we simply
don't have funds for Dallas, but we are going to save up and go next
year to the convention in Orlando, and also are going to stay in
Disney the week before at the Port Orleans (French Quarter) Resort. We
are working on our package, figuring everything out, but it's soooo
much to plan! I'm hoping that there are at least a few Disney World
experts here on the list, as well as perhaps quite a few people who
know about conventions, this being our first one coming next year.

So, that's an introduction of me and why I came to this list. Now, a
question...does anyone know where to find a list of all the
attractions that have audio description? I foudna list for Disney
Land, which has a few rides the same, and even a snippet of the
description auido file for the Haunted Mansion, but didn't find a full
list for Disney world's attractions. I think the audio description is
awesome, and definitely want to take advantage of it!
