[Travelandtourism] Reasons Why I Will Never Sail on NCL Again

     I don't want to offend anyone but feel the need to make some comments
here.  In the past, I know, from speaking with access travel agents, that
people in wheelchairs and blind folks had problems when cruising with
Norwegian.  Because these problems happened in the past, people have a right
to be concerned.  I know two blind people who had a nice cruise with
Norwegian so I hope that issues which happened in the past have changed.
>From my experiences also, information can be submitted and stated by
corporate offices of cruise lines but sometimes this same information does
not get forwarded to particular ships.  That's why I always take emails with
me to confirm what has been stated in regard to any situation.

     For Sherryl, it seems that you are always defending Norwegian and no
one is questioning the work that you do.

     Can we just get back to discussing ideas for travel?  For example, can
anyone suggest weekend get-aways in smaller towns where transportation is
not an issue?  Perhaps people could tell about trips that they have taken
with museums that have accessible tours, bus tours which have been
interesting or cities where theaters have audio description.  I live in the
D.C. area and there is lots to see here including several accessible museums
tours and audio description at the Kennedy Center for any performance if
requested.
