Yesterday, Cheryl posted a message about America West beginning cruises on
the Mississippi River, next year.  If anyone would like to take one of these
cruises, I'd very much recommend them.

I've never traveled with America West.  But, I have cruised on the
Mississippi River, when the Delta Queen Steamboats were cruising there.  The
history and small towns along the river are just wonderful.  It's great to
get off the boats and meet the local people and either take tours of their
towns and businesses or purchase crafts and hand made items, which many
towns have available right along the shore.

I love this kind of vacation and really believe that it's important to
support the small towns and businesspeople who rely on the tourist industry
for their livelihood.
