[Travelandtourism] volunteer vacations?

Cheryl, You do not serve your industry well. Peace Corps is not always a viable option. If you didn't know this, then you shouldn't put it out there. Peace Corps is a fine organization, though not everybody can or should sign up. Some people are inelligable to sign up. You can mention it as an option but "there is never always Peace Corps".
I think Salvation Army also has some restrictions, I think (and I don't know this) that they do not welcome homosexuals.
Just be careful with your advice and realize that your attitudes reflect your industry not just your personal feelings.

FYI, Certifications and training as a travel agent, all depends on the area I want to focus on, and yes I am quite aware of the Peace Corp, in fact, I have family in the Peace Corp. Especially over in the middle east. So I don't appreciate that e-mail at all.
Again, rudeness and nastiness will not be tolerated.
I would watch it, you are stepping on a fine line.
