Trevor:
Thank you for posting, and we miss you on our monthly conference calls, so I hope you are getting all the e-mail.
Secretary Margo Downey is in charge of getting this stuff out to all paid members. If not, please check you spam folder or junk folder from her, the same for all other paid members of the travel & tourism division.
I appreciate the posting, but in any country that you go to and not just south or central america, you will find these types of dogs, we have these types of dogs here in the US as well, because people do not take care of there dogs properly.
I am sure that people realize when they travel outside the country, that they must be more vigilant of the safety of there dogs, that is why it is imperative to the dogs owners that they have their up to date shots, and using some kind of flea & tick regime as well as heart worm pills.
But again, thank you for posting your concerns and all is well appreciated.
