The current mission statement and also description of the talk list is as follows:

The purpose of the National Federation of the Blind Travel & Tourism list is to aid the Division in its two-fold mission to promote independent travel of the blind and to serve as a platform for collective self-expression, advocacy and resource/networking on the travel industry as itpertains to the blind.
Here is what I purpose. Same as what Stephanie has posted but with 2 word changes.
This will be voted on at Convention.
The purpose of the Travel and Tourism Division (To be changed to National Association of Blind Travelers) is to provide a platform for cohesive dialogue on travel experiences, destinations, working in the industry, educating the travel industry on blindness, promoting travel for people who are blind, hosting travel events as fundraiser's, and advocating for the rights of blind travelers.
