I did answer your question and posted here. Also, each person has gone to different countries, I have had people go to Italy, Ireland, U.K. France, Russia, Egypt, Israel
In fact, during the March "Echevarria Travel Show" on thruoureyes.org. I will be having my friend who does escorted tours for people with and without disabilities in Israel.
But it is all about what you want and not where others have gone. Some may have had bad experiences because they didn't ask what they could do since they are blind, even if you don't tell the travel professional, you should like the supplier now what you are looking for in accessibility. 9 out of 10 times if you are on either a private vacation or with an escorted trip with others, and inform the travel professionals, that you are blind or in a wheelchair, or deaf, etc they will make the trip as hands on as possible.
Some museums will take piece of art out for your to touch, we had that experience recently on a cruise, where there was an art exhibit, and we asked was any touchable so we can experience it, and said there were some sculptures that were meant to be that way. In some cases, they will be old and you would need to put gloves on and they will offer them, and that way, the other people on the trip may experience something that they may not have experienced if you weren't with them.
Or the different foods available. If someone doesn't like French food here in the states, may not want to go somewhere in France, but the side note to that is there are many regions on France where the foods are different from what you have experienced here in the states.
The music, the sounds, the food, the culture is what you want and not what someone may have experienced.
Yes, it is nice to ask about who what where and when they went, but we want to hear, were you want to go and ask if someone has experienced it as well.
If you say well I want to go to Italy, where Rome, Pisa, Venice, Pompeii, Florence, Tuscany, Sicily. I hope you understand what I mean.
