Re: Possible meeting with Mr. Mark Jones, Manager
of Domestic Services for Guests with Disabilities, Walt Disney Parks and
Resorts at National Convention.

Dear
Dr. Maurer:

As
you may or may not be know, NFB Travel & Tourism has been working closely
with Mr. Mark Jones since last year, and in fact, we will be doing a personal
tour with him at the Magic Kingdom to check out all the old and new devices and
services for the blind at the park.

He
is also doing a presentation at both Travel & Tourism on Tuesday afternoon
between 1-4:30PM and will also be at the National Association of Guide Dog
Users (NAGDU) on Monday Night talking about the service animals at the parks.

Dr.
Maurer, Mr. Jones has just e-mailed me, in hopes of staying throughout the
convention. He feels that this will be informational not only for him, since he
is a child of both parents and brother who are deaf, and to bring back to
Disney more information about our needs.

He
hasn’t given me anything definite at the time to a schedule, I am planning on
paying for his registration and banquet tickets. My concern was and if you and
the board might have some time for an introduction and little meet and greet at
the Convention. The officers and myself are also thinking of eating together at
National, with him as our guest.

This
could be a great education for him as well as for us.

I
look for your guidance on this matter.

With
great respect.

Your
sister in the NFB
