Hi All,
I am on my way to Kansas City from Slidell via Washington D.c. and Chicago.  Things went pretty well on Amtrak 20, and much to my surprise, they have finally fixed the dining car reservation issue that I had been complaining about for the past couple of years.  The bad part is that I have not received proper assistance once I arrived in Washington D.C.  No Red Cap met the train, and after checking my bags and heading to the restroom, he just left me there.  I had to call Amtrak Customer Relations twice before someone came to assist, but he only would assist me to the seating area.  I had requested to find something to eat since I am going to be here for awhile.  So, that is part 1 of my trip so far.  Hoping part 2 and 3 go better.
