Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving from the Echevarria Family:
One bit of housekeeping, I have gone over the membership list on the nfbnet.org, many of you are not registered for the talk list, so if you want to get e-mails sent to you about the travel and tourism division, you need to make sure:
This is list not that active unfortunately, and I hope this will change to have your e-mails batched, please go to the nfbnet.org and travelandtourism list, and please check no that you don't want them batched, you may never get e-mails in time for things.
Please also make sure you have your correct e-mail listed, many of you have old e-mails on the list, which if you are not getting these, dah, you are not reading them. LOL. Stupid me, please change your e-mails.  Including our officers.
Just a friendly reminder about our division meeting, which has been changed to Tuesday Nights, instead of Monday Nights, if this doesn't work for the membership, we need to hear from you on the meeting calls, so we can vote on other dates, remember this is your division, whether if you are on this list just to learn or are a paid member of the division.

We start the meeting at 8PM Sharp, this includes all of you late officers (as I wag my finger, you know who you are), Santa is going to give you coal for Christmas on that one.  LOL
Agenda will be:
1. Changing of the Guard so to say, Milton Taylor is leaving us as Treasurer, and Glenda Farnum, needs to be voted in, even if it is until National Convention.  We will have our final Treasurer's report from Milton on our bank account. So that we will start fresh in January.
2. Steve Hastalis and Jemal Powell are our Resolutions Committee, they are working on our draft resolution to be jointly presented at National Convention with the National Association of Guide Dog Users (NAGDU) in reference to all the recent issues with the airlines.
3. We will also be discussing National Convention, Since the date of Division Meetings is July 3rd this year. Our meeting will be held from 1 PM for Registration and we will be needing help at our Registration Table and the meeting will be from 1:30 - 4:30pm. Resolutions is the day before division meetings this year on July 2.  
4. On December 4th, The Echevarria Travel Show with host Cheryl Echevarria, Margo Downey is my co-host but will not be available this month, will be the last show of the year, and we are having and end of the year party, so to speak, I am looking for officers to call in probably during the show. I am also having a guest Ron Helquist, owner, Southern Utah Scenic Tours. His company did our October trip for us, and I will be having members of the group call in as well. So if you are calling in, introduce yourselves, what state you are from, and what position are you in the division.
The show will start at 8pm Eastern Time, I mean on time. So, please be by your computers like 7:45PM. Website for the show is www.thruoureyes.org, and just sit and listen to the show, the call in number is toll free 1-888-572-0141.  If you have some sight, the show is also streamed on youtube, so when you got to the website, just click the link at the top of the page for youtube.  Also we have an app for your smart phone. it is m.thruoureyes.org
If you are not familiar with the www.thruoureyes.org program. It is the only NFB Internet Radio Station. Started 9 years ago by the Northeast Chapter of the NFB, and the 1st show and is still on the air is Thru Our Eyes with Joe Ruffalo, and if you don't know who Joe is, he is the President of the NFB of NJ.
Since then there are 8 shows throughout the month, 2 shows on every Wednesday Nights, there are no other times for the shows that are live.  All Show air at 8PM Eastern Time on the same website.
4 of the shows are hosted by NFB Members like yours truly on different subjects. The other shows are all different as well, but not hosted by NFB members. All Show Line ups and times are here:
