FYI, Spain and France, U.K. and many European Countries allow Guide Dogs
from the US. They even have organizations like our own NAGDU.

I have written Peter off list so that I can possible help further with the
trip they are planning.

NAGDU also has this information on their website, www.nagdu.org, which I
have sent them information over the years. For those that don't know NAGDU
is the National Association of Guide Dog Users, a proud division of the
National Federation of the Blind.

I just want people to realize that it is a long flight as well when
traveling with your dog, they have to be the ones that can wait to go to the
bathroom, like my dog, Maxx. Maxx is getting older now and semi-retired, so
I don't take him on long flights, since he is still young and healthy and
having a really good doggie life with us.

Not getting another dog for a while, I am also a great cane user, so nothing
should stop us from traveling.

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.

Hi Peter hope things are going well. When I went to France with my family
there was someone in the elevator of our hotel with a guide dog. I know for
sure that guide dogs are allowed in France but I don't know about Spain.
