Good afternoon all members:

Please reply, whether or not you will be attending the monthly division
meeting to travelandtourism at nfbnet.org <mailto:travelandtourism at nfbnet.org>
, this is our talk list. Monday, January 18, 2016 at 7PM Eastern, 6PM
Central, 5PM Mountain and 4PM Pacific time, is our 1st teleconference call
of 2016 all are welcome especially our paid members. Call in number is (641)
715-3273 and the access code is 871517#.

We ask this because, we would like to know the reasons why you will not be
attending. If we do not have people attending then we will not have a
meeting that night it will be cancelled due to lack of participation. I am
sorry to sound angry. We are concerned not angry, but we are wondering why,
members pay their dues and still do not participate. This is not only
through this division, but affiliates and chapters meetings as well. If you
are not members you are certainly welcome to attend our meetings, but
courtesy is what we ask of you, and not to insult or bash.

Since we have had monthly meetings since 2012, and at all of the meetings it
is primarily the officers. We know what is going on, and we need your
participation to grow and be more involved in this division.

We have changed dates, times, etc! We still only get maybe 1 member to come
to meetings.

So please reply, again, if this upsetting you to read, believe us, it is
very upsetting to do. We need to build the Federation. "Let's Go Build the
Federation"

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
