[Travelandtourism] Lyft

It is getting it wrong long after I enter it and request the ride is the
problem. Around here GPS is a real issue often times, and I have contacted
Lyft with the bug report about this issue since it is making my rides a bit
more expensive than they should be. Most GPS systems have solved the
incorrect GPS location problems around here at this point, and hopefully,
Lyft will realize there is a problem since 1300 Front St. for example cannot
also be 1304, 1306, and 1310, two of these are completely different
businesses further down the block actually, and at least one of these
addresses after 1300 cannot even exist on this particular block.

It is using GPS to try to figure out where you are. If the app gets it
wrong, it is up to you to enter the actual address. You can also add your
home address to settings so that will always show up as an option, as well
as the most recent places you have been to. Gps can be inaccurate and you
need to provide the accuracy.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed something with the Lyft app that
is a little concerning. This is the addresses it is using are incorrect or
just plain do not exist. For example. The address it has me dropped off at
when going to a restaraunt that I like going to is 2993 Carrie St. That is
several blocks off from the restaurant address of 2667 Carrie St. It also
seems to be doing the same with my home address but worse. It is showing an
address that does not even exist on my street. That has already had one
driver go to the wrong location to pick me up. Other than this, I have only
had one small issue with a Lyft Driver, and it was felt with quickly and
professionally by Lyft.
