That is good point to make in terms of embossing documents. Thank you. I was just extremely lucky with making friends at NOVA, so that we’d split the costs of books and school supplies. As far as large print is concerned since my accident I haven’t been able to read large print for very long before I suffer fatigue. Braille and Screen Readers are my best friends in this technological world we live in. 

When I was at Radford University I had to fight for the DRO “Disability Resource Center” to buy updated tech for their students. In fact, I started a club for the purpose of equality between the student body at Radford. It was a challenge to gain the support but at end of it all the DRO was able to buy 2 new pieces of technology for their students. The first was a CCTV upgrade and other was a JAWS upgrade. Something I need to do for NOVA when I get to NOVA in the Fall. Right now I’m working in RVA. 

JAWS on my Surface Pro Notebook is pretty good. I’m not sure how accessible JAWS is in tablet mode since I use it mainly as my work station computer. I normally just use my Mac Air with VoiceOver to do quick tasks.
