[VABS] Chili Cookoff: What You Need to Know

Greetings Federationists

 

With the day of the most anticipated event of our affiliate- sans
convention, of course- approaching, I thought that the following updates and
information should be shared so that no one is confused about specific
logistics for Saturday:

 

Judges: Please arrive no later than 10:30AM. The official tasting is the
opening facet of the event; thus, you must get there on time. If there are
any issues you foresee, please call me at 804.801.7674. Remember, your
admission fee is waived because of your position, thus when you arrived your
name will be on the admitted persons list. 

 

Competitors: Please arrive no later than 10AM. If you are bringing a
crockpot, please bring extension cords so that you can keep your pot warm.
Also, please bring serving utensils. I have your names on an admission list,
so all you need to do is state your name at the table and you will be
granted entrance.

 

Attendees: If you have preregistered, your name will be on the admission
list. Simply state your name and you will be granted entrance. If you have
not preregistered, please pay $10 at the door for your admission fee. All
attendees should arrive no later than 11:15AM. 

 

All people that come to the chili cookoff will be given a raffle ticket.
This ticket will be for the door prize drawing that will occur hourly. Don't
forget to participate in the cake walk and the 50/50 raffle during the event
to be in the running for more great prizes. I look forward to connecting
with all of you on Saturday.
