[VABS] Vabs elections ballot for 2024 plus important convention updates

Good evening Vabs and happy Halloween! I am so excited to share with you
the ballot for the 2023/24 Virginia Association of Blind students board
elections! These are the candidates that submitted applications. Please
take the time to read them thoroughly before our business meeting on
Saturday, November 4. If you did not submit an application, you are still
eligible to run for any of the positions. However, you must be able to
nominate yourself or have someone nominate you during our business meeting.
This means that you either have to be attending the business meeting in
person or have someone who is able to nominate you attending  in person. If
you are considering joining our board, please feel free to run! It never
hurts to give it a shot and we are eager to have new leaders.
Additionally, please bring five dollars to our business meeting on
Saturday, November 4. Every year we as a division collect dues  That go
towards our funding for programming for the year. We can  only  except cash
or checks, so please have those handy during our business meeting. We can’t
wait to see all of you at convention this weekend. Stay safe and stay well!
