Dear fellow Vendors,

I am writing this letter with the hope that some one out in Vendor-land can help me.  I am a blind vendor in  Georgia two rest  areas locations; I-85 North Carnseville and I-85 North, Swanee Ga.  I was informed yesterday by the SLA that the GADOT has slated both of my only rest areas for closure this month 7/2009.  Out of all the the other rest stops, only mine appears to be on the chipping block. I have sent a e-mail to my Congressional Rep. Phil Gingry, but I would like input for other vendors in other states who have faced this same issue. Who else can I contact both locally and nationally to appeal this decision?{I am the only minority women vendor with a roadside in GA.}FYI.  Also, has anyone else gotten notice that their roadsides were closing this year?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
