Good morning colleagues,

I have awesome news. We are more than a month away from hotel reservation deadline, and already more than half of our hotel rooms have been reserved. I urge you to spread this message throughout our Randolph-Sheppard community. Please urge your colleagues and friends to come to BLAST. I hope to release an agenda later this week. It is really turning into a very dynamic agenda of meaningful education for blind vendors and state agency staff. Also, if you know of blind entrepreneurs or folks who work for agencies developing business opportunities for the blind outside of Randolph-Sheppard, please let them know about BLAST. The majority of training elements at BLAST will apply to any person working to develop small businesses. Make reservations immediately. Remember that state agency staff-only training will take place from 8 to 5, Monday, May 20. Some breakout training sessions for blind entrepreneurs will begin as early as 10:30 AM, Monday, May 20. There will be breakouts throughout that afternoon. The very first general session will begin at 4:30 PM, Monday, May 20. We plan a great reception that evening. The conference will adjourn at 11:47 AM, Thursday morning, May 23. Remember that the tradeshow is Tuesday afternoon, May 21.
