Note: Wow. It takes 3 years of special training to become a vending
professional in Germany, and they have vision.
Anybody want to go do it and report back in 3 years? Maybe we should update
our state licensing programs? Smile!

German Government Recognizes 'Vending Professional' As Official Job,
Provides Training

The German vending operators' association BDV (Bundesverband der Deutschen
Vending-Automatenwirtschaft e.V.) and other trade groups have convinced the
German government to officially recognize the job of "vending professional."
With recognition by the German Ministry for Economy and Energy and Ministry
for Education, vending companies as of August 2015 will be able to send
their staff for a three-year course in which they will learn the technical
aspects of the profession and acquire the commercial knowledge needed to
succeed in the vending business.
