This reminds me of a time when I was living in England.  I wanted to take a
cab and at first, the driver wasn't going to let me in the cab, then he
tried to slam the door on my dog's tail, then he tried to charge me extra
for the dog.  I told him in no uncertain terms what, where, how, and why.
Then I reported him to his supervisor, who said it was his first day on the
job.  I told her I didn't care about that, but that they needed to educate
their drivers.
