Oh wow! I think if somebody tried to slam my dog's tail in a 
door, I'd go ballistic.  That is so cruel and terrible! He could 
have seriously injured your dog, or you.  First day of a job is 
no excuse for being cruel.  He could have called his supervisor 
before taking such actions.  Well, I'd best get going.  Brr! It's
