[Youth-outreach] Contacts in New York for Youth Outreach

Hi,

My name is Stephanie Ludi, a professor at the Rochester Institute of
Technology, and I have been doing outreach with youth who are visually
impaired in grades 7-12 for the last 3 years.  I conduct workshops during
the summer and school year for kids to interest them in computing careers
using robotics, computer construction, and game development.  Our workshop
is called ImagineIT and information can be found at
http://www.se.rit.edu/~imagine-it.   I also ran a robotics track during the
last Youth Slam for NFB.

My work  is primarily in Southern California and in Western New York.  I
have trouble recruiting from the Western New York area at times due to the
spread of the population up here.  I would like to spread out the net
further and include youth in New York city and surrounding areas for
example.  If anyone has any contacts in those areas, I would appreciate it
as I have been unsuccessful in my internet searches.
