[blindkid] Descriptive books??

So sorry! By series, I meant the series of AR books.
Don't know that NBP can do anything to address this, but I'm going to pass

The most recent one was "In a Small Pond," by Denise Fleming.  I don't
believe it is part of a series, though.


I was just so surprised when Anna took the test and the questions
centered on the pictures, not the text.  I have been working VERY hard
to get Anna to be more independent in her reading -- thus, I don't
like to hover as she reads a book.  I guess I still will need to do so
so long as the pictures abound.


Additionally, I remember that the Isabelle Gaines One Hundred Acre
Woods books (there are a fair numer of books in this series) had
several tests with questions relating to the pictures -- not the text.



Again, my complaint is: Accelerated READER tests should test what the
child READS.  At least, that's what makes sense to me . . .
