Subject: [AERNet] FamilyConnect "Ask the Experts" blog

Dear Colleagues,

I posted our second "Ask the Experts" blog on FamilyConnect (www.familyconnect.org) and I'm sorry to say that there have been no comments from teachers or parents. I'm wondering if this is not a good idea or if it is just a slow start. I know how busy folks are, maybe there's just no time to "chat" online...I certainly find myself with little or no time for such efforts, but parents have told us that they want something like this so I wish you would all encourage the parents with whom you work to go to the web site and check out the Ask the Experts blogs...and post their comments. At present, there are two blogs posted: Steve Morris, a financial planner posted the first, and I posted the second, focusing on career education.

Please don't hesitate to contact me directly if you have questions or comments related to this effort.

Thanks, Karen
