The EnV2 and EnV3 phones have been a Godsend for our daughter Lauren
(16).All menus are accessible and the ability to text her messages when we
are away is very helpful (like when she's still asleep and we leave).

I understand that the newer iPhones are also very good.

Subject: [blindkid] ipod touch/nano/cell phones?

Hello all,

My son is turning 12, and wants an iPod Touch or a cell phone for his
birthday. We are probably not going to go there for another year or two,
but just in case we turn soft, does anyone have any advice about
easiest/most accessible brands or type of phones and/or any experience with
blind kids and iPods?

thanks!

Lynda Zwinger
