[blindkid] an update on Joey

hugs.  I just quickly read the wiki on Battens Disease. I am heart broken
for you.  While my daughter's blindness is caused by a genetic disease  it
typically only causes blindness and in the grand scheme of medical issues
blindness really that big of a deal compared to serious medical issues some
children have to deal with.
I want you to know we are all here for you.
