[BlindKid] College Board Complaint

Hi All,

My daughter Arushi is in 9th grade and will be appearing for AP Human Geography exam in May, 2021. I fortunately stumbled on this mail thread and became aware that there may be hurdles on this path. I'll start communication with the College Board to get more clarity beforehand but I would also like to be involved in this conversation if possible. 

In the meantime, I'll drop a mail to Valerie Yingling as well.

Dear Angina,

It appears that you wrote to Valerie Yingling at the NFB on October 13. Did you write to her at vyingling at nfb.org? Did you receive a response? It's possible that your message did not reach her.

The College Board certainly should allow your son to use a screen reader to take the exam. Many blind students have used this accommodation in the past without a problem.
