[blindLaw] Marking Citations in Word with JAWS

When I used NVDA and Word to create my tables of citations, I had no problem editing both the long text and short text in the "mark citation" dialogue boxes. But now that I've switched to JAWS, only the short cite is available to edit; the long cite area is just blank. Can anyone with a lot of briefing experience offer a fix to this?
