[BlindMath] Sec. 10.1.7 in UEB Rulebook: Why use the contraction for "lord" in the word "lordosis" and then not use it in "chlordane"?

Hi mates?

I have a query about the UEB Rulebook, 2nd edition.

In 10.7.1 examples, what is the justification for using the "lord" initial-letter contraction in the word "lordosis" but not using that same contraction in the word "chlordane"?

How is this kind of exception justified considering that the "word" initial-letter contraction IS used in the word "sword"?

Regards.
