Hello!
Our team at the Northwest Center for Assistive Technology Training (CATT-NW<https://wssb.wa.gov/catt>) just finished our first Tech in 20<https://sites.google.com/wssb.wa.gov/cattresources/home/tech-in-20?authuser=0> season, complete with twenty 20-minute demos all focused on AT and math for low and nonvisual accessibility. All demos are posted on our YouTube channel<https://www.youtube.com/@catt-aph>. Related to Ray's question about converting math content into an accessible format, here are a few demos that may be of interest:
*
MathPix to OCR online math content for JAWS<https://youtu.be/RpZUxOtu9-s?si=4-ihSHaaJCB7euuL>
*
Morf for preparing accessible math worksheets and graphics<https://youtu.be/AflzU9ZYe2Y>
If anyone gets a chance to check out this training series, please feel free to reach out with any feedback and suggestions!

Has anyone tried taking a PDF download of a math book, otherwise, not very
accessible to the blind, and having a chat bot, like Chat GPT, convert it,
chapter by chapter, into accessible HTML?
It's an experiment I might try, but I wonder if any of you have played
around with this.
Ray.

Please try claude. It works better than chatgpt for maths as per my
observation.

If you want to convert an entire book, it is better to use specialised
tools such as Mathpix. You can then still use another AI tool to clean up
the conversion if needed.
Kind regards,
Bert
