Hi all,

I hope you are well and remaining healthy.  

The April showers is certainly bringing May Flowers. I wake up to the
magnificent song birds in my backyard. I am personally cannot wait to be
able to eat breakfast on my deck.

I hope you all were able to enjoy the wonderful food at Union Jacks earlier
this week and support the NFB fundraising event.

Remember you all have until May 31st to register for national convention.
Register for the NFB national convention, so you can receive the enriching
information provided by the numerous presenters, learn about the multitude
of resources, and build a network with an extremely diverse group of people.
If you experience any difficulty registering, please let me know.

Registration is now open and free! Get access to the latest information as
it is made available and more. While there is no registration fee to attend
the National Federation of the Blind 2021 National Convention, please
consider a donation if you are in a position to do so. There is a donation
option available during the registration process. Your support is greatly
appreciated.

Double Your Impact May 16 to May 23
Thanks to generous gifts from Deque Systems and an anonymous donor, you can
double your Give $20 contributions next week during our gift matching
campaign. The National Federation of the Blind is celebrating Global
Accessibility Awareness Day all week long. 
Every dollar you contribute will be matched up to $25,000 during the week of
May 16 through May 23. Participate in our Give 20 Convention Drawing and
double your donation at the same time. Contributions of $20 or more will be
eligible to win a trip to the 2022 national convention in New Orleans,
Louisiana, OR take the cash prize of $2,000.

At our chapter meetings we do our best to listen to the latest NFB
presidential Release. Due to the timing of our meetings and when the
presidential release is made available, we do not get to listen to the
latest release. Always. Please make time to listen to the Presidential
release to hear what is happening within the NFB movement.
