Hello Everyone,

A few weeks ago I posted a request asking those of you who have experienced
inaccessible electronic health records to contack Valerie Yingling. I am
currently requesting that if you have experienced inaccessible
certifications or licensing examinations, as well as practice examinations
please contact Valerie Yinglin by sending her an email at
vyingling at nfb.or or by simply "replying to all" from this message. We have
had some successful attempts of taking licensing exams using JAWS; however,
we have had as many or more attempts where the software has failed causing
great stress and anxiety for those sitting to take these examinations.

It is only with your input and feedback that this organization can move
forward in the attempts to change the inaccessibility of these
professionally required items. At our Division meeting there were a great
number of attendees who were in college and their plan for the future is to
take professional licensing or certification examinations. The time is now
to blaze the path so these imdividuals may not have to experience the stress
and anxiety of inaccessiblility when taking these examinations or when
being employed in a health care environment.

If you have experience with any of the circumstances mentioned above please
take the time to respond.

Wishing you all a very splendid Labor Day!With Warmest Regards,

Merry c. Schoch

NFB Human Services Division President
