Hello Beth:
A blind collegue has to go through Citrus for her EMR and she uses JAWS. She had Blind Services to provide a Adaptive Scripter to create access into her PC and it now works.

I suggest you ask Blind Services in your area to provide this service for you.

Subject: [humanser] Using Citrix witha screen reader: a question

Hello list,

Feel free to message me off list if that is easier atat Bethglpc at gmail.com

My company is migrating everything over to the cloud and we currently use Citrix to access our electronic health record. At the moment, they have me accessing it via my desktop so I don’t have to use Citrix because it doesn’t or hasn’t worked well with Jaws. However, because of the challenges of it not working with Jaws, they have concerns about how they’re going to get me onto the cloud since they are going to use Citrix as a way to access the electronic health record when it is in the cloud. Are there any tips or tricks that I can use so that Jaws will work with Citrix? What about NVDA?

Thanks,

Beth
