         Check out hospital jobs maybe or adult daycare facilities? 
They have social work jobs whereever there are loosely organized 
masses with a single goal or objective. Also, if you end up striking 
out there you might  while persuing such jobs and you have a stomach 
for it, you might start hanging around your city's "home-less" 
cultures. There, you have access to a actual benefitiaries of the 
social programs they charge social workers with administering and implimenting.
