[Journalists] Paging any bloggers out there

I meant to respond when I first saw elizabeth's question, and that was
distracted -- as usual!
I had a blog last year, begun for the specific purpose of sharing the
experience of training with a new guide dog. I posted faithfully during
that period plus several weeks following, but I didn't want to write about
dogs any more, so abandoned the effort.
Have tought many times of doing a more general one. I used Blogspot and
liked it fairly well. Many people say that WordPress is much easier to use,
though.
Both are free.
Deborah

Hello Elizabeth,

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply to your question.

I think having a blog is an excellent idea.
At work, we use Type Pad which is not the most accessible site, in my
opinion.

I think many blindpeople are using Word Press.

Good luck, and let us know how things are going.

Writing colleagues,

Many people say that having a writers blog is a great first step toward
getting more recognition, as well as a positive exercise to make yourself
write on a regular basis outside the lines of duty.

>From anyone who blogs, I am seeking advice on most accessible blogsites for
inputting. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks in advance,

Elizabeth Sammons
