What you say makes complete sense, and it's also similar to what
my mobility instructor has already told me I will likely need to
do in an unfamiliar environment. He's not against using a
mobility instructor, but I'm sure he wouldn't be against me
learning an environment on my own. But I feel I have the
skill-set necessary, because of the training I have already
received. This does not mean I am at my full potential, because
in some cases I have not had the chance to practice these skills.
It may turn out that a training center would be necessary for me.
But in the long-term view of my life, I would rather obtain a
college degree and then attend a center if necessary. College
will give me a chance to test myself and to evaluate my own
strengths and weaknesses, and to become more cognisant of where I
am in my journey.
