[nabs-l] question about WiFi networks

Hi all,

I am currently on vacation in France for 3 weeks to visit my
family.

We are currently staying with my grandmother, and I have noticed
something very strange about her WiFi network.

I was able to enter the network password successfuly on all of my
devices (my BrailleNote, iPad and Victor Reader Stream) however,
for some reason, thenetwork was not letting me connect from
within my bedroom.
I know this because I have attempted to connect from my room on
all 3 of my assistive devices, and have noticed that the WiFi was
very slow and kept receiveing an error message saying that the
connection was unsuccessful.
My only option so far was to go to my grandmother's living room,
where the connection was stable.

I therefore find it really strange that it would work in one room
but not another.
Do you guys know any possible reasons for this?
Could the slow network issue be it? Would my grandmother maybe
want to talk to the network provider to try to figure this out?

Also can you offer any possible solutions for any of my assistive
technologies I use (again, my BrailleNote, iPad and Victor Reader
Stream.)

Thank you for your replies.

Thanks,

Sami.
