> The last ttime we spoke, we updated everyone on the great work that the fundraising committee is doing in soliciting small businesses and donors for items that will be auctioned off at our annual Washington Seminar event. This year, I challenged all of NABS (our board and membership) to bring in at least two auction items from a donor to qualify for a chance to win a Google Home smart speaker, generously donated by the Alpha chapter of Alpha Delta Mu national music fraternity. The deadline to complete this challenge for consideration was Thanksgiving evening and after fierce competition, I am proud to announce and Aaron Espinosa is the winner of our contest. To disclose a bit, Aaron was able to procure gift cards totalling at over $200 donated to NABS. I ask you all to congratulate Aaron for such amazing work.

NABS will still be collecting and accepting donations for auction items and monetary support. The deadline for submission of auction items is December 31, 2020 at 11:59pm. I urge you all to get in the fundraising spirit while we get into the holiday spirit this year.
