Gail,

I got put on Valium for it when I fell over at work and landed in the
ER.
My doctors don't want me on it full time as it is very addicting and
although it mostly controls the vertigo about 70% it makes me into a
walking zombie. I'm doing physical therapy right now-- specifically
vestibular exercises.
Friday we did steps because I wanted the PT to evaluate how I do steps
with Laveau since they are so scary and I have to take them every day.
The PT has helped although it makes me really sick for a day after.
Laveau has been a great dog helping with Meniere's, my proprioception
has just gone out the window and there are still days when I can't
figure out where I am in space and totally rely on her to get me where
I want to go. Combine this with my deafblindness and she's got a hard
job to do, laugh.
