Hi Daniel,
Congratulations on your interview. I know that I made several mistakes on
mine too. And for that matter, I made some mistakes in training too, but I
am sure a lot of us do.
Like you, my home interview took place this time of year. It was on November
30th, 2008. With the holidays and all, I didn't get the final decision from
Guide Dogs for the Blind until January.
And then I was put in a class at the end of April. The neat thing was that
on the same day as my home interview, my dog, Pascal was returned to GDB for
his formal training. Can you call that destiny? /smiles/.
Best of luck to you!
Deanna and Pascal

Hey guys, as you all know I had the interview with TSE today! If you asked
me, I made way to many mistakes. well, actually probably only 1 or 2, but
I'm a perfectionest so that's really really bad :d. but, by the sound of it
(of course he couldn't give me any definite answer) he thought I'd be a good
candidate for a guide dog!! The next step is just waiting to see if they
accept me or not. He said it'll be a few weeks before I find out so I can't
wait. Does anyone remember about how long it took your school to get back to
you on the decision?
Excitedly waiting,
Daniel G.

A wise man can learn more from a foolesh question than a foolish man can
learn from a wise answer.
