Buddy,
    As I read other's replies to this thread and found this job was in a VA 
facility, I realized my response may not have been completely accurate. 
Rather than
looking at Title I of the ADA, I thought it would fall under Section 504 of
the Rehabilitation Act, since it is a federal facility. Now that you state 
the employer is a contractor with the VA, it may actually still be a
504 issue but also may be a Title I vilation. I think a good attorney might 
want to take a look at this case. I would not fear retaliation, as 
retaliation is as discriminatory as the original action!
