[nagdu] Hello

That's true Eve! I actually looked at that donation wall at Pilot and read
most of the plaques up there. MJany were put up in honor of Lions who
donated to Pilot. But, like any organization that is big, folks get
different impressions for instance a local chapter may be more traditional
than another or a older group may be more conservative than a younger one.
I had a teacher who was a lion and he was a great teacher as well as a great
human being! Finally, I support all guide dog schools as long as they are
serving there clientelle the best they can and don't treat them like
subhuman folks. Dignity and respect are more important than waring about
what school or organization is the best. I for example have never really
cared for the White Cane cerimonies and White Cane Queen stuff the Lions do.
Only my oppinion though. And a final thing, some of the Lions might not
really know that theey support other schools. Me being in the Knights of
Columbus know we support our local mental health center. I don't know what
other ones we support but I'm sure we do others. If asked, I could tell you
we help this one and would reccommend it simply because without doing more
research, I don''t know what ones we support for sure. And, Leader is
probably the biggest school they do support!
