Hi Dan, I had to wear one of those boots a few years ago when I 
was working with Lamar, my now retired guide.  At first he was a 
little puzzled about my walk, but then he adjusted and just 
slowed down a little.  Be glad you don't have to sleep with the 
thing on.  That's awful! I'd wake up in the middle of the night 
and rip my boot off.  Lol.  I just could not sleep with it on.
