[NAGDU] Uber problem resolved

I took Lisa A's suggestion and put my complaint on the closest trip I could
find. I said that driver was good, but driver X came first and denied me.
I put driver X's real name, of course.
Uber got back to me quickly. My sister was with me when I was denied, and
when they called, so they talked to her as a witness. A day later, Uber
notified me that the driver had been dismissed.
So it was a bit tricky to put in my complaint, but it worked.
Thanks for the advice.
Tracy

Tracy,

Uber still has the information, even though the driver sprung you back into
the queue, and you got another ride.
Frustrating, isn't it?!

First, report it to the NFB rideshare testing site.
Then, in the Help tab on Uber, report an access issue w/service animal.
You'll see it when you go into Help.
Give them all the details you remember, especially time, date, driver's name
& type of car if you remember.
Someone will contact you from NFB, and they'll want to see the report you
sent to Uber, as well as any followup e-mails you exchanged with them.

No guarantees, but you might get a free ride from Uber out of the deal. You
certainly deserve it.

All the best!

Susan

P.S. I'm the rideshare test coordinator for Indiana, and Raul Gallegos is
the rideshare test coordinator for Texas. I'm sure there are other
coordinators on here, too, and we'll be happy to answer any questions, or
help you with any needed additional information.

I was refused by an Uber today because of my dog, but I don't see the trip
on my trip list at all. How can I report it? This guy was just blatant.
"No dog, no dog!"

Tracy
